Are you looking for fun ideas to celebrate a B-day party or other celebration?
Look no further, you can combine two things that you love: camping and celebration. If it sounds too challenging, continue reading! Throwing a B-day party while camping doesn’t have to be a huge challenge if you plan ahead.
First step: secure a campground and sites for everyone in your party
Keep in mind that, depending on the time of the year, some campgrounds like Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park campgrounds might be full. If you decide to come and stay at Riverbend RV Park, we would recommend booking a month or so in advance, depending on the size of your party. Holiday weekends are usually very busy and sites get sold out, so if you are planning a celebration over a holiday weekend at our park, book a few months in advance.
Second step: send out invitations
You want your guests to RSVP as soon as possible, so you will know how many sites you need to reserve. We have created a FREE customizable invitation that could be used for a camping B-day celebration or celebration of other milestones in life. Third step: Plan the food and don’t forget to keep it simple
Hotdogs or burgers, or dutch oven mac & cheese are an easy crowd-pleaser.
Fourth step: Bring decorations
Decide on them and bring some decorations that you use to decorate your Rv or your Rv site. You can pick up some fun decorations at the local party store.
Fifth step: plan games and activities
The games and activities can include cards, nature crafts, horseshoes, a game or two at the Bocce ball court, basketball, baseball, football, or a scavenger hunt.
Sixth step: Tell campfire stories
No better way to finish a celebration than by sharing stories, sharing laughs, and making memories surrounded by your friends and family. Don’t forget to take a picture or two of your celebration! Have fun!
P.s. if you are staying at Riverbend Rv Park for a couple of nights, take advantage of visiting the nearby Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks.
